FAQs

What if it’s raining? Will the event be cancelled?

In the event of rain the event will run underneath the Large Outdoor Shelter at Yarra Glen Racecourse. The Shelter is huge! Everyone will be protected from the elements. It’s regularly used for the Yarra Glen Craft Markets and is open-air, has a high roof and is waterproof. It’s like being outside, being under a giant shelter. In the event that the event moves under the Shelter, you can still bring your camping chairs and even picnic rugs as we will have a fake-turf area for those festival vibes!

How much are tickets?

Affordable! This is a community-based festival and we want to put on a great day of music for you without breaking the bank. Think the price of a parma & pot for adults ($30), or salt ‘n pepper calamari for teenagers or concession-holders ($20). Tickets on the door are $35 (full) and $25 (concession).

Can I get tickets at the gate?

Yep, see above.

Can I get a refund?

No refunds at this point, sorry. We are a community event running on a budget so have to have our bases covered to pay all artists and personnel.

Is it All Ages? Can I bring kids?

Yep, all are welcome. Please note that Rock The Valley Music Festival is a music festival first and foremost and we don’t have any kiddie activities other than boogie-ing on down to the amazing tunes playing! Alcohol is restricted to people aged 18 and over and all adults will receive a wristband at entry.

What should I bring?

Your good vibes and smiles! Camping chair, picnic rug, sunglasses, sunscreen, suitable clothing
